What this work is (and isn’t) about

This work is in no way meant or equipped to diagnose, treat or offer remedies as a primary mode of care for medical conditions including chronic pain, or serious psycho-emotional ailments. Neither does it psychoanalyse, counsel, or offer any sort of advice on what to do or how to lead your life.

Instead, this (process) is primarily about exploring your immediate experience in terms of the current thoughts you’re having (which show up as visual images, words, ‘voices in the head’), emotions, and bodily sensations.

Whatever accompanying relief, opening, clearing, spaciousness, peace, joy or other goodies that arise, is purely incidental to the process of exploring the immediacy of our internal environment in a skillful manner. In other words, we’re not chasing any of these outcomes, however pleasant or nice they may seem to have or experience. Rather, we’re more about helping you explore the painful beliefs, judgments, and conclusions that you’ve strongly identified with, the consequences of gripping so tightly to them, and the implications (which are quite real) involved in loosening your grip on them.
